My name is Iwona. The first time I got to work with clay was 7 years ago.

Years have passed and my fascination has  only become stronger. Weekend workshops in my small town and kitchen table piled high with kilograms of clay were insufficient. I started attending different workshops and trainings. I was learning new techniques and I met fascinating people. Two years ago I decided to open my own studio. I felt big need to create and share my passion with other people. Since then my passion has become my job. I create utility and artistic ceramics, jewellery as well as sculptures. I organize workshops for children and adults in my atelier. I also teach ceramics in schools and kindergartens. 

Next to my studio there is a small gallery where I present my work.

I am truly inspired by nature. I have always been amazed by its perfection and self-sufficiency. I create organic shapes and textures with tenderness. Limited colour palette and roughness of forms is applied here on purpose- variety of clay does all the work by itself and accentuates creators ideas.

Most of my creations exist in singular copies. They can be done as a commision, however they will never be truly alike. Waiting time can differ depending on used techniques and size of a piece. Clay requires not only knowledge but also modesty. It hates rush and violent treatments. It's like a human being that needs understanding and affection.
